Empowering Young Athletes

MalawRise is thrilled to showcase the significant achievements made since December 2020. Your collective contributions have played a pivotal role in advancing our mission to empower young African athletes, enabling them to unlock their full potential both on and off the basketball courts. Over the past three years, these resilient young girls and boys have demonstrated discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. Our basketball camps have featured motivational speakers, martial arts instructors, and successful former athletes who shared their inspiring stories with our campers.

What we do

Thanks to your generous support, we have successfully organized 25 co-ed basketball camps, impacting over 2,000 participants. Additionally, we've awarded 12 academic scholarships to high- performing student-athletes, donated more than 650 basketballs, and provided over 1,000 basketball uniforms. All 25 camps prioritized the consumption of locally sourced foods and beverages, emphasizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
