MalawRise is a 501(c)(3) private foundation that operates basketball camps in Dakar, Senegal, to promote commitment, discipline, and perseverance, maximizing opportunities and talent for the evolution of Senegalese youths.

The ultimate goal is to position participants so they can graduate high school and enroll in university or earn certifications to professionally practice their vocational skills.

Unlike other programs that take only a skillbased approach, we work with the whole individual, working with our kids to develop a healthy lifestyle early on, positive attitudes, and educational focus – all skills that will carry them forth beyond basketball.
